Shared Family Meals Matters

It is important for a family to have shared meals together as it strengthen the strong relationship of its family.

Through Presidential Proclamation 1895, every 4^th Monday of September  has been officially declared as National Famealy Day (Araw ng Pagkilala na ang Kainanga ay Pamilya ay Mahalaga)!

On this day, family members are encouraged to go home early and have dinner with their family. Through this event, parents are reminded to frequently spend more mealtimes with their children so they can be more involved in their lives.

Enjoying your long weekend or not?

Many people are so joyful for the reason that Malacanang declared our Philippine holiday in celebration of the National Heroes Day (August 29) and Eidl Fitr – Ramadan Celebration by our Muslim brothers and sisters (August 30). They have been much happier because these dates fall under the weekdays (to be specific Monday and Tuesday! That means more days for resting and bond time with the family.

But amidst the good idea of a long weekend, bad news for others because PAGASA (Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration) cited that there will be a typhoon coming on a weekend. Maybe at this time many canceled plans for a long trip or activities and rather stayed home. Until now heavy rains is still on landfall creating floods for some low lying areas.

Protecting your family from killer dengue!

Its rainy season here in the Philippines and obviously it is wet all over again and so the dengue virus carrier strikes again. This dengue mosquito scientifically named Aedes Aegypti again evolved alongside humans. The mosquito has learned to cohabitate with humans, thriving in man made creations that contain stagnant water such as discarded tires, septic tanks, and neglected flower pots. Once hatched, the mosquitoes take up residence in and around human dwellings, especially in closets and under beds.

Exchanging Deals

Examination week for my daughter is near and we had to work very hard reviewing. Kids As early as they enter school; parents need them to teach giving their extra effort in studying their lessons. For a preschool mom I realize teaching by this level is very hard it is somewhat giving more extra effort in teaching your kiddos, because as to their age they refuse to study and rather play! At one point I had such a struggling moment teaching her resulting to arguing and nagging. But I realize that we need to them time to play and time to study.

A mom and a wife..such a big deal!

I am a mom of two beautiful girls named Keziah Kiel and Kandice Khloe and also a wife to my ever loving hubby Jake..I am a working mom before so I had a little time for my kids before, so I decided to resigned to give them 100 % TLC (tender loving care).
